Let’s face it, you will have earnt that weekend away from the kids after all that home schooling. You deserve that day out with friends, rather than quizzes over Zoom and let’s not forget you’ve got lots of birthdays, engagements and anniversaries to pull something special out the bag for.
SPRING 2021
The good news is, when we can live again and restrictions are no more, we’ll be ready for you. We used the extra time forced upon us to make our estate even better, taking our ideas to the next level, creating a wine retreat plucked from your dreams.
It goes without saying our vineyard’s a rather special place set in 50 acres framed by 100 year old oak trees, with row upon row of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Meunier grapes.
Downstairs we’ve developed a 360 experience room to give you, the whole love story of our vine to wine in a very interactive way. There’s a shop and even a gin creation room for you, based on our pinot noir juice.
LUXURIOUS LODGES
Then there’s the five lodges, where do I start…
Each lodge, named to depict the cycle of the vineyard; Budburst, Flowering, Veraison, Harvest and Fall are furnished with velvets and silks to reflect the colour of the season. There’s stunning attention to detail for the ultimate opulence. From the gold leaf roll-top bath, and baby wood burner to the hand-painted decorative walls spilling in from the vineyard up to the heights of the apex bedroom. Just perfect for those lazy moments in the sleep-inducing, hand crafted two metre bed. Each lodge is sure to have a plethora of spoiling touches.
BEEHIVES
The grand finale is the 50 beehives which are due to take residency soon. This means we will be offering our home grown pure British beeswax products including honey, scented candles and wax melts, wax wraps, soaps, lip balms and even ‘Be a bee keeper for a day’ and bee tours that will blow your mind, delivered by our own in house Bee Keeper.
But for those of you that just want a delicious drink after a hard week in the office (be positive, we will be returning) you can just turn up, order a flight of wines and chill. Now who’s up for that?
So it’s a Happy New Year from me, chin up and see you on the terrace.
